Dispensations, 70 Week of Years, God’s Timeline, and Current Events

 

When looking at God’s Plan, it is revealed in the Bible in several ways.  In the various dispensations that give us a general look at how God has progressively disclosed Himself over time through covenants.  God gave us a measuring rod in the nation of Israel revealed to Daniel in the form of 70 weeks of years (70x7 years or 490 years).  And by His timeline laid out by the Prophets.  Combined, these three views work together to tell God’s Saints exactly where we stand relative to God’s plan.

 

Dispensation – God’s plan has been dispensed (or distributed) over His 7,000 year plan in 7 unique timeframes called Dispensations:

 

  1. The Dispensation of Innocence (Gen. 2:15-3:21) – From the creation of man and his commission to rule the earth in the Adamic Covenant to the violation of the Adamic Covenant and man’s expulsion from the Garden of Eden.

  2. The Dispensation of Consciousness (Gen. 3:22-8:14) – From the fall of man to the flood of Noah and the Noahic Covenant.  Lasted 1,656 years.

  3. The Dispensation of Human Government (Gen. 8:15 – 11:32) – From the flood of Noah (the Noahic Covenant) through the call of Abraham (The Abrahamic Covenant).  Lasted 427 years.

  4. The Dispensation of Promise (Gen. 12:1 – Ex. 12:37) – From the call of Abraham (The Abrahamic Covenant) through to the exodus of Israel from Egypt under Moses (The Mosaic Covenant, or Mosaic Law).  Lasted 430 years.

 

  1. The Dispensation of Law (Ex. 12:38 – Matt. 2:23;11:10-13; Luke 16:16) – From the exodus of Isarel from Egypt under Moses to the preaching of the Kingdom of Heaven by John the Baptist; or from Moses to the first coming of Yahshua the Messiah.  Lasted 1,718 years.

 

 

  1. The Dispensation of Grace (Matt. 3:1 – Rev. 19:10) – From Yahshua the Messiah’s first coming till Yahshua the Messiah second coming.  Lasts approximately 2,000 years.

 

  1. The Dispensation of Divine Government (The Millennium; Rev. 19:11-20:15) – From the second coming of Yahshua the Messiah until the last rebellion of Satan and man on Earth.  Lasts 1,000 years.

 

 

Daniel’s 70 Weeks of Israel

(God’s Measuring Rod)

 

 

God’s 6/7 Plan was given to us over and over in the Bible and flat out defined in 2 Peter 3:2-18.  That Plan was then given a “Measuring Rod” in the Nation of Israel.  That measuring rod was defined in terms of 70 weeks of years in Daniel.

 

 

This section in Daniel refers to 3 unique timeframes that are disconnected from each other but together make up the 70 weeks of Israel and the consummation of the 6/7 Plan of God. The common link to all three timeframes is Jerusalem and the abominations on the Temple Mount:

1.      7 weeks (49 years) – This timeframe began with the decree of King Cyrus to rebuild Jerusalem after it was destroyed by the Babylonians. EZR 6:3-5

2.      62 weeks (434 years) – This timeframe ended in AD70 with the Messiah being cut off and the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.

3.        1 week (7 years) – This is the LAST week that marks the end of God’s 6,000 year plan and the transition to the 7th Millennium.  It is marked by a 7-year peace treaty and according to God’s 6/7 plan should have been expected in the timeframe of 1993 – 2000.

 

The Bible Ties it All Together, Resulting in Israel’s Punishment Ending in the Year 1948!

 

Jeremiah’s 70 Year Prophecy of Punishment

Jeremiah 25:11

Jeremiah prophesied a punishment upon Israel of 70 years to be served in Babylonian captivity.  According to history, that punishment began in 606 BC.

 

Ezekiel’s 390 year Prophecy of Punishment

Ezekiel 4:3-6

Ezekiel’s Prophecy during the Babylonian captivity extended Israel’s punishment from 70 years to an additional 390 years for a total of 460 years.  The end of Jeremiah’s 70 year punishment was in the year 536 BC.  That was they year Ezekiel’s punishment of 390 years began.  This punishment was multiplied by God’s commandment by 7 times Lev 26:18-28.  So, the total time of Israel’s punishment was first 70 years, then an additional 390 years that was multiplied by 7 because of Israel’s lack of repentance.

 

The remaining 390 years would now be multiplied by 7 times!  The additional punishment would now end in the year 1948!  The first 70 years began on the first day of the Babylonian month of Nissan and ended on the first day of Nissan.  So the remaining 2,485 years also began on the first day of Nissan 536 BC.

 

2,485 Roman calendar years (365 day years), or 2,521 Prophetic Jewish Calendar years (360 day years) is a total of 907,560 days.  Simply by adding the number of days prophesied as punishment for Israel to the date the punishment began we arrive at May 14, 1948.  This is the exact date that God re-established the Nation of Israel and the date Yahshua said would mark the last generation.  So, Yahshua as well as most Bible scholars have known the date of Israel’s restoration, as well as the timeframe for the Messiah’s second coming.  Then we know that Daniel’s 70th week, or the last 7 years prior to the “Day of Preparation” would be the last 7 years prior to the year 2000.

 

1948 was in fulfillment to Isaiah 66:7-8.  Now that we know the exact date of a specific prophecy, we can discern the entire timeline!  We can discern that after October 1st, 2000 that six thousand years will have expired.  Within days of that date, the Hebrew calendar new year will begin for the 2001th year from the creation of Adam!

 

The Beginning of the 70th Week of Daniel

The 70th Week of Daniel marks the end of the 6,000 years and the beginning of the “Day of Preparation”. 

What that means is that Daniel’s 70th week was expected to begin on the first day of the Babylonian month ‘Tishri’ in 1993 with the signing of a peace treaty that would be known according to the Bible as the “Peace and Security” covenant between Israel and the Arabs.  That treaty was signed on September 13th, 1993 as prophesied.  It expired on September 13, 2000 as prophesied just before October 1st 2000 or the beginning of the 2000th year since the Messiah, or the 6000th year since Adam!

 

Since we now know our calendars are 100% accurate to God’s Timeline, we should expect on March 13, 1997 the “beginning of desolations” (Dan 9:27) that last 2,300 days (Dan 8:13-14) until the final act of abomination known as the “Abomination of Desolation” occurs.  On March 13, 1997, the Prayer Sacrifices on the Temple Mount were stopped as prophesied and have launched the 2,300 days of desolations on the Temple that ultimately lead to WWIII and the restoration of the Temple in 2003.

 

The Beginning of the “Day of Preparation”

The end of the 6,000th year marks what the Bible refers to as the “Day of Preparation”.  According to God’s ultimate Plan of 6/7, it should be expected that the first 6 years of the 7th Millennium would be “The Day of Preparation” and the 7th year of the 7th Millennium would be the year of the Messiah’s return. 

 

According to history, Daniel’s 70th week began and ended with OSLO.  The midpoint was March 23, 1997 and the beginning of the abominations was March 13, 1997.  That puts the end of the 2,300 days of abominations in the year 2003.  And the beginning of the 3.5 year tribulation ending in 2007.

Biblical Prophecies of

  1. Daniel’s 70th Week begins and ends with a 7-year peace treaty (Daniel 9:27).

  19. The armies of the world gather at Armageddon to wage war against the army of God led by Yahshua and the Saints.

Current Events (Events that have occurred since Yahshua’ resurrection till now)

  1. AD70 destruction of Israel.
  2. 1947 – Nov. 29th the UN General Assembly passed Resolution 181[II] establishing Jerusalem as a “corpus separatum” or “a body of separate covenant”.  Meaning that in the eyes of the UN, Jerusalem is seen as a separate body than the rest of the world and must abide by different laws!   No historical precedence.
  3. December 11, 1948 UN passes Resolution 194[III] putting Jerusalem under “international regime” ruled over by the Trusteeship Council.
  4. 1948 rebirth of Israel in one day (Isaiah 11:11-12, Jer. 23:3).
  5. 1948 birth of Prince Charles
  6. April 4th, 1950 the UN passed the “Statue of City of Jerusalem” which sets forth the statues by which the “international regime” will rule over the city.
  7. 1967 6-day war recapture of Jerusalem by Israel.
  8. August 1980, Israel adopts its “Basic Law: Jerusalem” proclaiming to the world its right of ownership over its capital city.
  9. Secret meeting in Oslo between Prince Charles’ attorney, Arafat, and Rabin results in the 1993 Oslo Accords fulfilling Dan. 9:27 signed on the White House lawn.
  10. Sept 4, 1993 meeting of the World Parliament of Religions.  150 of the worlds top religious figures met to form the Global Ethic
  11. 1993 establishment of the European Union fulfilling the prophecy of the rebirth of the Ancient Roman Empire in the form of a 10 nation confederacy seen in Daniel 7:1-28.
  12. 1993 founding of MONDEX International founded by NATWEST the personal bank of the British Monarchy (Prince Charles) and 51% owned by Mastercard fulfilling prophecy in Revelation concerning one currency and the mark of the beast.
  13. March 13, 1997 stopping of evening and morning prayer on Mount.
  14. March 23, 1997 mid-point signs and wonders (eclipse, Hale-Bopp), peace treaty called “dead”.
