I want to address the following question:
"I would like to really concentrate on the 430 years after the promise, the Torah coming, and the statement about the covenant only being made with those at Sinai there at that time (not the forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, etc) in Deuteronomy."... The reason I say this, is because you made reference to the "Holy Law" which should not be confused with the Torah at Sinai. The Torah was an account for transgressions (something bad).  The holy law of the spirit is love.  The law at Sinai is not permanently binding any longer on Israel though.  The new ministration of the spirit has in fact done away with it. 
You cannot separate YHWH's commands from His promises like that.  Yes the commands under went a change from verbal to written 430 years later as they were further defined and understood.  I want to demonstrate that what is described in the Word of YHWH is a Master Plan for training the sons of YHWH over a 6,000 year period on Earth through "progressive revelation".  In other words, YHWH has been disclosing to His sons who He is and His Plan of Salvation to them progressively over time.  And that plan has always consisted of:
  • The Chosen
  • Promises
  • Commands
  • Transgressions of Commands (sin)
  • Penalty of Transgression (death)
  • Sacrificial System (alter/blood of lamb)
  • Righteousness (obedience to commands)
  • Restitution
  • The Passover
  • Forgiveness
  • Life
    • The only change over time was from verbal to written to Spiritual.  The ordinances of YHWH remain the same.
     
    You keep trying to separate one aspect of this Plan of Salvation, the promises, from all other aspects of the Master Plan.  As though the promises existed alone in a vacuum at the time of Abraham outside of His commands and the rest of the Master Plan.  Your are attempting, by isolating the promises, to prove the commands only came into existence 430 years later for a specific time.  This simply not true.  When in fact, YHWH's commands have always been an integral part of the Salvation Plan at work and were at work during the time of Abraham, and were as important to the Master Plan then as they were at the time of Moses and even now. 
     
    The only difference between the time of Abraham and Moses was that the commands under went a "change" from verbal to written and further defined.  And they underwent another change from Moses to Yahshua which was that of a "transferal" from written to Spiritual and further defined.
     
    Yes, salvation is based on a promise, yet righteousness is based on obedience to commands.  Sin is transgression of those commands, while Grace is forgiveness in light of those transgressions.  They all work in unison in the training of the sons of God.  You cannot isolate one aspect of the Master Plan in an attempt to do away with the other vital aspects of this training system.

    His Commands did not come into existence 430 years after Abraham, they were made known to Abraham and Jacob, Abraham's grandson too!  And on down the line.

    5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws .

    19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. 20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
     
    There is no righteousness outside of His Commands:

    Romans 2:13 (New International Version)

    13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.

    You cannot know YHWH outside His Commands:

    1 John 2:4
    "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments (Torah/Law), is a liar, and the truth is not in him."    
    You cannot Love YHWH outside His Commands:

    1 John 5:3

    For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; 

    His Law is the foundation of His Holiness and are Righteousness:
    Deut 4:8 - KJV
    8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
    His Law/Commands are vital aspects of Grace which is defined as forgiveness in light of transgression of those very commands.  You cannot have Grace with no Law... you have anarchy:
    Rom 4:15 - KJV
    15 Because the law worketh wrath (for disobedience): for where no law is, there is no transgression.
    The Apostle Paul fully understood exactly what I am attempting to communicate to you now.  And this is the topic of his letters.  Paul was obedient to the Torah and Prophets and the Feasts EVEN AFTER the death of Yahshua and taught them in light of the Messiah:
    Acts 24:14 - Complete Jewish Bible
    “But this I admit to you: I worship the God of our fathers in accordance with the Way (which they call a sect).  I continue to believe everything that accords with the Torah and everything written in the Prophets.”
    Paul was blameless in keeping the Torah:
    Acts  28:17 - Complete Jewish Bible
    Brothers, (speaking to the local Jewish leaders) although I have done nothing against either our people or the traditions of our fathers…
    Paul even went out of his way to get to Jerusalem for Shavu'ot to celebrate the giving of the Torah.
    Acts 20:16 - Complete Jewish Bible
    For Shaul had decided to bypass Ephesus on his voyage, in order to avoid losing time in the province of Asia, because he was hurrying to get to Yerushalayim, if possible in time to celebrate Shavu’ot.  (Celebrate WHAT?, Paul went out of his way to celebrate Shavu'ot which is THE CELEBRATION OF THE GIVING OF THE TORAH!!!!) 
    That's exactly what it says.  Paul CELEBRATED the Torah.  He kept the Torah.  He taught the Torah.  So something is wrong with the way Paul's writings have been translated and taught. Paul wasn't alone, every man of God bar none kept His Commandments.... the man chosen by YHWH to heal Paul's vision was Hananyah... a keeper of the Torah!
    Acts 22:12 - Complete Jewish Bible
    A man named Hananyah, an observant follower of the Torah (why would he add that statement?) who was highly regarded by the entire Jewish community there, came to me, stood by me and said “Brother Shaul, see again!”.
    And so was every other Disciple, Apostle, and early son of YHWH until the Cult of Sol Invictus came along 400 years later and abolished it all.  This is called the Transgression of Desolation.  Below I want to provide a very basic outline to demonstrate that the "Promise" did not exist in isolation outside every other vital aspect of the Plan of Salvation which has been at work all along.  And to abolish His Commandments out of that same system now is a doctrine of man and there is no truth in it.
    1 John 2:4

    Consider the outline below and the fact that all men of God throughout history have kept the very commands you say are now abolished.  And think... have you been misled?  And then stay with me as we address Hebrews, Gal, and every other writing of Paul's and we clearly demonstrate that in fact... yes...  We all have been misled by the false religion. 
     
    Christians today who have bought into that false doctrine that YHWH's Commandments have been abolished STAND ALONE...
    while Yahshua, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Paul, and every other son of YHWH stand together in OBEDIENCE to His Commandments in righteousness.

  • Forgiveness - Restitution to perfection of the chosen - YHWH forgave Abraham after his demonstrated obedience to His command out of faith and Abraham became the Father of Faith
  • Life - Isaac lived instead of died - Salvation was based on Abrahams faith in YHWH's promises.

  • Penalty of Transgression (death) - Death of the nation - nation was taken into slavery
  • Sacrificial System (alter/blood) - Tribe of Levi setup as Temple Priests to offer animal sacrifices where blood had to be shed on the alter
  • Righteousness (obedience to commands) - Obedience by faith to the commands of The Law written in stone
  • Restitution - Blood of the lamb sacrificed for the sins of the people by the Temple Priests of Levi on a national scale
  • The Passover - The blood of the Passover Lamb on the doorpost provided salvation from the Angel of Death (Passover further understood)
  • Forgiveness - Restitution to perfection through faith and obedience in the promises of YHWH to send a Savior and His Commandments
  • Life - The righteous (obedient to commands) were saved through faith and promises of YHWH (Yahshua was presented as a witnessed to them of the fulfillment of those promises in Sheoul)
                 * they had faith the Messiah would come, we have faith the Messiah has come.  Neither of us have seen him.

  • Transgressions of Commands (sin) -  Attitude of heart or violation of Spiritual Intent replaced physical acts

  • Sacrificial System (alter/blood) - Zadok Priests under the authority of Melchizedek - Eternal High Priest - Law TRANSFERRED to Heaven (sacrificial system became Spiritual, living sacrifices, etc.)
  • Righteousness (obedience to commands) - Obedience through love to all the commands of YHWH in their truest Spiritual sense
  • Restitution - Blood of the perfect sacrifice of the Spiritual Passover Lamb of YHWH by Melchizedek and High Priest Yahshua
  • The Passover - Blood of the Passover Lamb of YHWH (Yahshua) on the Spiritual Doorposts (our hearts) save us from the Second Death (eternal death)
  • Forgiveness - Restitution to perfect obedience realized in the perfect mediator, the Messiah Yahshua as Grace is offered for transgressions
  • Life - Eternal Life realized and proven through resurrection of Messiah and further guaranteed to all sons of YHWH in first resurrection who have faith in the fulfillment of YHWH's promises

    As we can see, the "promises" never existed in isolation at the time of Abraham.  In the same way, the commandments did not just come into existence at the time of Moses for that specific time.  Both are a vital aspect of the overall Plan of Salvation.  You cannot isolate the "pomises" and abolish the "commands" out of a Divine System ordained by YHWH.  Now we can address Paul's letters as Paul was chosen to communicate a vital "change" as the Plan of YHWH was "transposed" from written to Spiritual. 
     
     
    TRANSPOSITION NOT ABOLISHMENT
     
    The English translations are not very accurate.  Below is the proper translation of the "Change" that occured in The Law in Hebrews 7:12.  The word translated "change in the Law" in Hebrews 7:12 is Greek word #3331 in Strong's.  If you look this word up, the proper translation and meaning of this word is NOT "change" it is "transfer to Heaven"... transposition.
     
    In context, this scripture is explaining the superiority of the Spiritual Melchizedek Priesthood over the physical portrait and human priesthood of Levi.  The Levitical Priesthood was given to help us understand physically what Yahshua would do Spiritually as High Priest before YHWH (physical to spiritual parallels).  And given the final High Priest has come and taken His position as the King of Righteousness or Melchizedek... the human priesthood of Levi was TRANSFERRED over to Melchizedek and so was the Law by which the priesthood has authority to make atonement!  Below is how Hebrews 7:12 should have been translated:
    Hebrews 7:12
    "for when there is a transfer of the priestly office (of Levi to Melchizedek), out of necessity there is ALSO A TRANSFER of the LAW of the priesthood (by which the Priesthood has authority)"
    In other words, now Yahshua is the High Priest and has all the duties and authority provided Him by the Law of YHWH concerning sacrifices and atonement.  Both the priesthood and the Law that governs it was transferred to Melchizedek (Yahshua) not abolished.  Both the High Priesthood and The Law were "transferred to heaven" or transposed.
     
    Hebrews 7:12 where it says "change in the Law" is a mistranslation used to assist Roman Catholicism and Christianity to do away with the Law of YHWH.  The correct translation of the Greek word  metaqesiV is "transfer to heaven".  Meaning both the Law which governs and defines the sacrifices made by the High Priest as well as the High Priesthood was transferred to Heaven with Yahshua... NOT abolished.  Below is the Strong's entrance... the word metathesis means "transposition" or a transfer of position in this case to heaven.

    Next, I will address the rest of Hebrews and Gal. and explain how the "physical mountain" was transposed to the "Spiritual Mountain".  How the physical high priesthood was transposed to Melchizedek.  How the physical priesthood was transposed to the Spiritual Zadok Priesthood.  How the written commands were transposed to Spiritual heart feld commands.  How the physical temple was transposed to our bodies.  How what was in the Arch of the Covenant (manna, tablets of commands, staff) was transposed to our physical bodies.  How physical Israel was transposed to Remnant Israel.  And how the Kingdoms of this Earth are going to be transposed to the Kingdom of YHWH in the Messiah. 
     
    And in that coming Kingdom... The Torah flows forth from Jerusalem as THE STANDARD of righteousness in that coming Kingdom... just as it does now as it did then and always will.

    Zechariah 14:16,17

    "And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.  And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain".

    Isaiah 2:2-4

    And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
    3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
    4 And he shall judge (using the Torah) among the nations, and shall rebuke many people (for not keeping the Torah):

    **** Please pay attention to what this says.  "The Torah will go forth from Zion" and Yahshua WILL teach it, we WILL walk it, and if not, Yahshua WILL REBUKE you. **

    Let's just tackle it all shall we?  And we will discover the very meaning and intent of FULFILLMENT...
