Has
the Torah been Cancelled Out?

"Having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against
us and which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having
nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made
a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Therefore let
no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival
or a new moon or a Sabbath day- things which are a mere shadow of what is to
come; but the substance belongs to the Messiah." (

To understand the Word of God, you cannot take any one scripture out of context
and build an entire doctrine from it when the bulk of the Word of God says the
exact opposite.
The subject of Col 2:14-16 is NOT the Sabbath day, Feasts, and Commandments. The
subject is the penalty of death or “certificate of debt” that was levied
against mankind for our failure to keep them prior to the YHWH paying that debt
for us with the blood of His first born son Yahshua. And the condemnation from
the rest of the World as we keep YHWH´s Commandments, Feasts, and Sabbaths.
Again, the subject is the "certificate of debt" not YHWH´s Sabbaths,
Feasts, and Torah.
YHWH nailed the penalty of sin (violating His Holy Commands) to the cross, as
the blood of our Messiah and His Passover Lamb was sufficient to YHWH to cover
our transgressions against His Commandment. There is GRACE now in light of the
law (as we keep His commandments out of love not obligation).
Paul is covering two bases with this scripture.
ONE: Paul is saying. Do not
let anyone (Jews) condemn you (Gentiles) with the old “certificate of debt”
or “penalties of the law” because the penalty has been nailed to the cross.
We now have GRACE.

people of the Church in

Then concerning the Feasts and Sabbath Paul makes the MOST IMPORTANT declaration
of all… they are “types and shadows” or “portraits” of “things to
come” and they point to Yahshua the Messiah.
We now understand the full spiritual meaning of YHWH’s Feasts and Sabbath as
they truly do point to things to come. The Feasts point to Yahshua’s second
coming. The Sabbath points to the coming Millennial Reign of which Yahshua will
be King (King of the Sabbath).
Again, you must be able to correctly discern the subject matter of this
scripture taking it in full context of the Chapter, Book, and entire Word of
God. And it MUST be in agreement.
You would be making a grave mistake to terminate the Sabbath when it was the
penalty for not keeping it that was nailed to the cross not the Sabbath or YHWH
Commandments. Especially when the Sabbath is declared over and over as the
Everlasting Covenant, a Covenant between YHWH and the sons of God to be kept for
all time… EVERY generation to come. The VERY sign itself of the true sons of
God.
Understanding this one scripture in context leaves the rest of the entire Word
of God in agreement.
Understanding this ONE scripture to mean the Sabbath has been done away violates
the integrity of the rest of the Word of God… Especially the Messiah’s own
words:
Matthew 5
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works (as you
keep YHWH’s Commandments, Sabbath, and Feasts), and glorify your Father which
is in heaven (if you love Him... KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, FEASTS, SABBATHS).
17 Think not that I am come to destroy
the law (the Torah, Feasts, and Sabbath), or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle
shall in no wise pass from the law (Torah, Feasts, and Sabbath), till all be
fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall
teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but
whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom
of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the
righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the
kingdom of heaven.
Zechariah 14 is prophecy concerning the Millennial Reign. It is the TORAH that
flows forth from
YHWH DOES NOT CHANGE! YAHSHUA DID NOT START A NEW RELIGION.
Who do you follow? Yahshua who commanded over and over to keep YHWH´s Law and
did so himself. Pointed the way to the ONE TRUE GOD, Yahshua´s and our
Father.... YHWH.
Or your pastor who has misunderstood everything concerning the things of God and
has you worshipping on SUNgodDAY and observing pagan holidays and rituals and
believing in a pagan triune god?
Fair question I think. And a most important one to ask yourself. I don’t care
if the entire world has fallen into paganism. For me and my house, we will serve
YHWH. Keep His Commandments. Enjoy His Feasts. And enter into His Rest on His
Sabbaths. And we will be made justified by the blood of His Lamb Yahshua.
