The Plan of Salvation - the real story - begin here

Understanding the “timeline” God has revealed through prophecy and historical events requires an understanding of God’s Plan for Mankind as revealed over thousands of years and only through the Holy Bible.  To fully understand God’s plan, we must:

·         Identify “where” God has revealed Himself to man….

·         Understand “what” God revealed to mankind about His plan…

·         Understand “why” God predestined this plan…

·         Understand “when” God declared events in His plan would unfold…

The wonderful truth is that we are living in the “End Times” and God, has over time, progressively revealed the answers to these questions.

This chapter is intended as an overview of the Word of God required to understand the big picture painted by the Bible and the times in which we are living, the purposes of God in these important times, and probably most important of all… where we, as End Time Saints, fit into God’s Master Plan.

First, we must address “why” we rely on the Bible for these answers.

Why the Bible?

Answering this simple question is paramount and it is fundamental in the understanding human history.  We must have extreme confidence that God has revealed Himself to mankind and know that His revelation is found in the Holy Bible and not in any other book.  While God gives us a measure of “faith” to believe the promises found in the Bible, He does not leave us without “reason” for having confidence that His promises can be relied upon.  It is our role to seek the truth and discern truth from a lie.

Discerning the Truth from the Lies

When seeking where God revealed Himself to mankind, you must be able to determine the "divinely inspired" from the "humanistic" writings.  We must be able to discern the true “Word of God” from the “vain babblings of humanity”.  Simply put, we must know were to find the truth and avoid the lies.

The Bible is not the only book that claims divine authority.  Every religion has its respective writings.  From the Koran of Islam to the Book of Mormons to the Talmud of Judaism… how do we distinguish the truth from a lie?  Prophecy is the proof of inspiration.

Prophecy is the Proof of Divine Inspiration

God declares in the Bible that He uses prophecy to "prove" the authority of the Bible.  Since God is sovereign and predestined everything, He simply clues us in on future events through prophecy in the Bible and then brings them to pass.  By doing so, God provides the “reason” for our faith in His promises.  And because only the Bible effectively delivers, God demonstrates the unique inspiration of the Holy Bible!

God foretold every event through prophecy before the event occurs and we are expected to know beforehand, serve as His witnesses, and proclaim the knowledge of these predestined events:

1Thess 5:20
“Do not despise prophetic utterances”

Isaiah 46
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
11 … I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Isaiah 42
9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Isaiah 44
8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no god; I know not any.

Isaiah 48
3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass… 7 They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.

The Bible is different from every other “religious” book. The books written by false religions or cults, try to explain the present and past.  But all of them are silent about the future.

Twenty-five per cent of the word of God, when it was written, predicted the future; and, it has come to pass with 100% accuracy. Consider, for example, just the birth of the Messiah.  The events of the Messiah were predicted hundreds of years prior to the event in detail:

·         The time of His birth is given in Daniel 9.

·         The fact of His birth is given in Isaiah 7.

·         The Place of His birth is given in Micah 5.

·         The details of His life, His death, and His resurrection, are given in Psalms 22 and Isaiah 53.

·         The fact of His resurrection is given in Psalm 16.

One mathematician has figured out that there is 1 chance in 87E93 or 87 followed by 93 zeroes that man alone authored the Bible.  That means literally that the chances are

87,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,

000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. to 1

that the Bible could be right on guess alone.  It has to be supernaturally inspired.  It is a mathematical impossibility that the Bible could have been written without the hand of God.  And the Bible as a result has sold the most copies of any book ever written… by far.

A clear study of prophecy reveals that the Bible has accurately foretold every major human event in history.  In the Bible, God declares Himself sovereign.  God declares that He predestined the entire course of History.  And then proves this claim by prophesying future events and demonstrating His power to bring them about literally with 100% accuracy.

First, lets clear up exactly what sovereignty means so there is no confusion as to the extent to which God is in control of His creation:

Sovereignty

Main Entry: sov·er·eign·ty
Variant(s): also sov·ran·ty /-tE/
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural -ties
Etymology: Middle English soverainte, from Middle French soveraineté, from Old French, from soverain
Date: 14th century
1 obsolete : supreme excellence or an example of it
2 a : supreme power especially over a body politic b : freedom from external control : AUTONOMY c : controlling influence
3 : one that is sovereign; especially : an autonomous state

From the Webster’s dictionary, we clearly see that for God to declare Himself a Sovereign God, He must have SUPREME EXCELLENCE, SUPREME OR ULTIMATE POWER over creation, He must be FREE from any form of external influence or control, and He must exert CONTROLLING INFLUENCE over His creation.

In other words, for God to be Sovereign, there cannot be a battle between Himself and Satan (the battle is between the angels and demons), He cannot be contained within the realm of time, and He cannot be at the mercy of so-called “FREE WILL” of man waiting to see the outcome of history.  In fact He must exert supreme controlling influence over His creation… called PREDESTINATION

Let’s look at exactly what God declares concerning His sovereignty:

Isaiah 45:5-7
5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded (protected) thee, though thou hast not known me:
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Sounds like a sovereign God has spoken!  There is nothing that occurs outside of God’s predestined ordinances.  No free choices outside of God’s sovereign will.   The truth is that everyone ever created by God was done so for a purpose…  and that purpose in creation as defined through prophecy was to allow 6,000 years of human government before introducing the Divine Government whereby He will govern the Universe under the authority of His Son and our King… Yahshua the Messiah; and to train His sons known as the Saints for service in that Kingdom.

So, as we will see in this book, God ordained a 7,000-year period on Earth as a time when He would introduce His sons to His creation and train them to liberate and rule over creation:

Romans 8:19

“creation eagerly awaits the revelation of the sons of God”… vs. 21 “when creation will be set free form slavery and come into the glorious freedom of the sons of God”

In the Bible, God reveals the process, by which His sons would be trained, demonstrating that He knows the future, controls kings, and controls kingdoms.  He clearly demonstrates He is faithful to bring His prophetic words to pass.

For example, through Daniel God foretold every human dynasty over this 7,000-year period.  He said to Nebuchadnezar, "you are the head of gold." And after you shall come the breastplate of silver, which was the Medes and the Persians. And then He said there shall be the belly of brass which represented Alexander the Great. And then He told of the iron legs, representing both eastern and western divisions of the Roman Empire.

Realizing that God has truly revealed Himself ONLY through the Holy Bible as made evident through prophecy and the progression of history, we understand that God told Daniel that in the final generation, the image of human government would be completed.  We will have the feet, having 10 toes representing 10 kingdoms.

We also understand that God revealed there would be a stone cut without hands, speaking of Yahshua the Messiah, the Cornerstone, precious and elect in Zion. That would come and crush the image of HUMAN GOVERNMENT, and make it fine as powder of the threshing floor and throw it into the wind as He establishes God’s Divine Government.

How could anyone know that future except it was God? Who, but God, could predict the future of kings and kingdoms with 100% accuracy?

Bible prophecy proves beyond the shadow of a doubt, that God is in control, and that He is in charge. The Bible says that He puts one king up and He puts another down. Proverbs 21:1 says "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever he will."   Everything is within the divine sovereign authority and control of the God of Israel, the King of Kings, Yahshua the Messiah.

Bible Prophecy reveals the purposes of God. God lets us see the future clearly and with confidence. When you understand what is going to happen, you have assurance and you have peace in the present. God told Abraham the future of Sodom and Gomorrah. In prophesy He tells us the future of the world in detail.

To put this puzzle together, the first step is to understand the Bible is about a 7,000-year plan from Adam until the end of the 1,000-year reign of the Messiah.  That plan is all about the people of Israel.  And that plan culminates in the ‘End Times’ upon the annulment of a 7-year treaty in Israel that causes a major war in the Middle East between Islam vs. Judaism/ Christianity over control of Jerusalem.  A Holy War long prophesied to bring the false messiah to power.  We are currently in this war and the time Yahshua called “Wars and Rumors of Wars”.

Understanding what God has spoken about the times in which we are living is the purpose of this book.  In this book I set out to provide a foundation of God’s plan and then build on that foundation a timeline given to us by God in His Word through His prophets.  Then I point out how God has moved through recent history to fulfill His word.  Clearly establishing the times in which we live so that we may be confident in the coming tribulations that God is sovereign and NOTHING occurs outside of His Will.  And most importantly, that as bad as things may seem, they are only PROOF of the promises that are to come.  The promises are far more amazing than the tribulation we must face.

First, let’s review the Bible to establish a firm understanding of the big picture.

Bible 101

It is important when trying to understand the times in which we live that we understand the overall “big picture” painted by the Bible.  Below I provide a walk-through of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.  This is a very high level look that is most often lost as we struggle to understand the library of books that is… the Bible.

I want to illustrate this high level understanding to demonstrate the progression over time that has led us to this point in history.  We are in the tribulation, the war between the sons of Abraham, that is the time of ‘Wars and Rumors of War’ that bring the false messiah to power.

So below, I will bring to life the major forces at war in this world at this time.  Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.  Where they came from and to what end they must face.   This is very important information required to discern the truth from the lies as we are continually bombarded with secular ‘news’ that this war is not a holy war.  Not only is it a holy war, it has long been prophesied to be the war that would not be resolved until this time in history.  As we will see as we develop God’s prophetic timeline in Chapter 4.

The Origins of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity

Because this war involves Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, we must first provide some Biblical history in order to understand this age-old conflict.

Each of these 3 major monotheistic (belief in one god) religions began with a promise God made to a man named Abraham.  This promised first resulted in two nations: the nations of Islam and Israel.

Then the promise given to Abraham was passed down through Abraham’s son Isaac down through Isaac’s son Jacob who was renamed Israel.  The promise was then divided among the sons of Israel.  Over time, the Nation of Israel was divided over these promises resulting is Judaism and Christianity.

The Promise

The promise that resulted in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam was given by God to establish a covenant with Abraham whereby God intended to bless all nations on earth.  The promise from God to Abraham is that God would make Abraham’s descendants a great peoples and mighty nations in order to bring the knowledge of God to all peoples.  The descendants of this promise would be the ‘children of God’, a holy priesthood, the chosen Saints that would rule the universe within His divine system of government.

Abraham then had two sons… and the age-old conflict began over which son was the promised one.

Two Sons (Ishmael and Isaac)

The account of this blessing and the two sons of Abraham is found in the book of Genesis.  As the story progresses, we see a human attempt to fulfill God’s blessings resulting in the eldest son Ishmael.  And then we see God move to fulfill His promise supernaturally through Abraham’s son Isaac.

We see the conflict develop between man’s attempt to fulfill God’s promise and the supernatural fulfillment of God’s promise.  The conflict is enhanced by human tradition that awards the eldest son, Ishmael, with the blessing verses God’s sovereign choice of the younger son Isaac.

The Origins of Islam and Israel

Then we see God bless both sons to be “fathers of many great nations” and the descendants of these two sons would be at war until the end of God’s plan to destroy human government.

However, Isaac was the “promised one”.  Which meant Isaac’s descendents would be God’s chosen people.  The children of Isaac would be those of love and life and their God would be the true God YHWH.  Ishmael’s descendants would be the children of hate and death and the false god Allah.

The resolution of this conflict (whose god is the true God and which son was the promised one) would come to a climax during the End Times.  God ordained a “Holy War” that the descendants of Ishmael and Isaac would be at war until the end of the 6,000 years prior to the beginning of the Millennial Reign.  This conflict would be the war that brings the false messiah to power.

Throughout history both Ishmael and Isaac’s descendants indeed grew into two great peoples.  These two sons of Abraham would become the foundation of the world’s three largest religions.

·         The descendants of Ishmael are the Arab countries; their religion is Islam, and their god Allah.

·         The descendants of promise are Isaac with the promised passed down through Jacob who was renamed Israel.  Israel had 12 sons who descended into tribes of people.  Those 12 tribes became known as the nation of Israel.  From there, the promise of God was split resulting in Judaism and Christianity.  Their God is YHWY (Yahweh or Jehovah), and their messiah, the Son of God, Yahshua.

The “Promise” Split into Two Blessings

When Israel (Jacob) blessed his 12 sons, he divided the Blessing of God passed to him from his father Isaac into two special blessings… the Birthright Blessing and the Scepter Blessing:

·         The Birthright Blessing is the blessing to become many great nations and with it came the blessing to worship God in “spirit”.  This blessing went to Israel’s grandson Ephraim.  Ephraim was the second born son of Israel’s oldest son Joseph.  Their messiah prophesied to be the Messiah ben Joseph.  Fulfilled in the first coming of Yahshua the Messiah.

·         The Scepter Blessing is the blessing of leadership and “truth” in worship.  The Scepter Blessing went to Israel’s son Judah.  Confirmed to King David.  Their messiah prophesied to be the Messiah ben David.  To be fulfilled in the Second Coming of Yahshua the Messiah.

Splitting God’s blessing ultimately split the Nation of Israel…

The Nation of Israel Split into Two Houses

During the reign of Solomon, the Nation of Israel was divided into two “Houses” the House of Israel (9 tribes) and the House of Judah (3 tribes) for the purposes of self-defense against invading armies.  These two “houses” became two kingdoms.  These two kingdoms became known as the Northern Kingdom of Israel and the Southern Kingdom of Judah.

·         The House of Israel followed Ephraim and the Birthright Blessing.  The Northern Kingdom of Israel.

·         The House of Judah followed Judah and the Scepter Blessing.  The Southern Kingdom of Judah.

These two kingdoms rebelled and waged war against each other.  This split ultimately resulted in Christianity and Judaism.

The Origin of Judaism

Over time, the House of Israel rebelled against the House of Judah because the House of Judah became possessive over Jerusalem and the King.  As a result the House of Israel (Northern Kingdom) was taken captive and scattered throughout the earth.  The House of Judah held on to their identity becoming known as “Jews” which is short for the House of Judah and kept the “truth” in worship alive throughout the centuries even until today.  While keeping the truth of God alive, they did little to bring this truth and knowledge of God to all nations in order to fulfill their destiny.

The Origin of Christianity

After the House of Israel scattered, they spread out all over the world.  Lost in the world, they longed to be re-united with their God.  God answered their plea.  Yahshua came the first time as the Messiah ben Joseph to reclaim the lost sheep of the House of Israel and fulfill the House of Judah’s destiny to bring the knowledge of God to all nations.

4,000 years into God’s 7,000-year plan exactly according to the timeline in Daniel, God sent the Messiah, Yahshua, the fulfillment of the prophesied Messiah ben Joseph.  Yahshua fulfilled His destiny as the suffering servant sent to reclaim the “House of Joseph”, the lost sheep of the House of Israel.

The purpose of His coming was multifaceted.  Not only did He come as the Messiah and to be the final sacrifice for sin, but He said He didn’t come to the Jews (they were not lost and were living in the land of Israel) but for the “lost sheep of the House of Israel” or  “the Gentiles” who were scattered among the nations.  The term “Gentile” simply means not Jewish.  Or rather not of the House of Judah.

Simply stated, Yahshua came the first time as the Messiah ben Joseph (the Messiah to the sons of Joseph) to reach out to the House of Israel (those tribes that followed the Ephraim and Manasseh, the sons of Joseph)  that was lost among the nations.  The House of Israel, the lost 9 tribes, was spread out among all nations as “seeds”.  God destined this “breech”, between the House of Judah and the House of Israel, for a purpose.  As God used the House of Israel as seeds to enable the rapid spread of the knowledge of God.  Yahshua “watered” those seeds calling Himself the “living water of life” and the knowledge of God spread rapidly across the globe as the “seeds” of Abraham responded to their Messiah’s call.

The Church Age

In order to bless all nations with the knowledge of God, a 2,000-year period was allotted for the Gospel to spread for the purpose of calling out “the lost sheep of the House of Israel”.  This period in the Old Testament was prophesied as the Messianic Age and known after the coming of the Messiah as the Church Age.

Over time, those seeds scattered among the nations known as the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel, the sons of Joseph responded to their Messiah ben Joseph fulfilling the Birthright Blessing to become many great nations.  These nations are the Christian nations of today and carry forward the “Spirit” of Worship.  And Yahshua, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, fulfilled what the Jews would not do and blessed all nations with the knowledge of God.

In one man, Yahshua, the entire promise God gave to Abraham was fulfilled: both to be many great nations and to bless all nations with the knowledge of God.  In order to accomplish this task, God had to blind the eyes of the Jews and reach out to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.

The Blinding of the Jews

During this time, God blinded the eyes of the Jews or House of Judah to the true identity of their savior Yahshua the Messiah.  A necessity as the House of Judah had become possessive of their God, His kings, His city, and His sanctuary and they failed in their mission to take the knowledge of God to all peoples and become a blessing.  Yahshua the Messiah, as a descendant of Judah, fulfilled this promise of God given to Abraham passed down through Isaac, then Jacob, then Judah.

Reclaiming the Lost Sheep

As a result of the blinding of the Jews, the House of Judah, the good news of the gospel went out and Yahshua called out of the nations His Church budding forth from the Birthright Blessing.  Being presented with their Messiah, the lost sheep of the House of Israel found in Him the “spirit” of worship that was lacking in the “Law”.  The Messiah ben Joseph not only recalled His sheep, but delivered the very “source” of their salvation from the second death.

Christianity Remains in Rebellion

However, over the period of the Church Age, the House of Israel remained in rebellion against the House of Judah and the “truth” in worship found in the Torah.  Lacking the ability to truly understand the intimate nature of God that can only be found in the Torah, the mysteries of God have remained hidden.  Including the very keys to the timing of the second coming of Yahshua the Messiah.  I will explore this more in Chapter 4.  In the ‘End Times’ the sealed servants are called out of the Church to understand the true meaning and fulfillment of the Torah required to unlock the keys to prophecy and the full revelation of Yahshua the Messiah.

Judaism Remains in Rebellion

The Jews, understanding deep concepts of the Living God through their understanding of truth found in the Torah were left lacking the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the saving grace of God’s Son Yahshua their Messiah.  Religion replaced relationship.  And the Jews, while following the letter of the Law, didn’t recognize the fulfillment of that same Law in their Messiah.   In the ‘End Times’ the sealed servants are called out of Judaism to understand the truth of the Messiah’s two comings required to unlock the keys to the full revelation of their savior Yahshua the Messiah.

Worship in Truth and Spirit

Yahshua said the ultimate form of understanding and worship of God can only be found in those who worship in “Truth” and “Spirit”.  This will be fulfilled when the breech between the two Houses is healed as the sealed servants lead the re-unification of the two houses.  Yahshua comes for His bride when the two are Houses are re-united and the whole House of God is one Nation of Israel again worshipping in truth and spirit.

Prophecy and the End Times

When asked about His Second Coming, Yahshua refers the listener/reader to the holy prophets and specifically to the Prophet Daniel.

First, we know from countless Bible stories, references, prophecies, feasts, and portraits that God’s Master Plan is 6,000 years of Human Government then 1,000 years of Divine Government called the Millennial Reign, as we will see in Chapter 4.

Concerning End Times, Yahshua declares He has told us everything in advance!

Mark 13:23

23   But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Yahshua talks about the false messiah, the Abomination of Desolation, the Mark of the Beast, and so on.  To find out more detail, however, Yahshua refers the reader to the prophet Daniel (Revelation had no been written yet).

Matthew 24:15

15   When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

So let me explain Daniel very simply here before we go into it in much more detail in Chapter 4.  It is in Daniel that the foundation of God’s timeline is laid out.  This timeline to be further filled in by the prophets such as Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Yahshua, and John.

Daniel’s Prophecy of 70 Weeks of Years

Daniel delivers a stunning prophecy of 70 sets of 7-year periods predestined by God as divine markers to bring about His Will.  This prophecy is not a continuous series of 70 sets of 7-year periods.  But explained as markers for major events pertaining to the first and second coming of the Messiah.  This prophecy is known as “Daniel’s 70 Weeks” or “the 70 weeks of Daniel”.

God lays out in Daniel a very detailed timeline of events with milestones and markers.  Every major human dynasty is foretold including Yahshua 1st and 2nd coming in the book of Daniel.  This timeline in Daniel peaks with the first coming of the Messiah and culminates in a dramatic climax of time that begins with a 7-year peace treaty and ends 14-years later with the return of the Messiah known as the End Times.

These 70 weeks of years are a “measuring rod” of history.  The last week of years or 7-year period is called the 70th Week of Daniel.  This 70th “week of years” or 7 year period is separated from the last 69th “week of years” by the 2,000-year Messianic Age or Church Age.  This last 7-year period is the ‘final marker’ prior to the beginning of the long prophesied war between the sons of Abraham; Isaiah defines this war as a war on terror!  Daniel further describes this last marker in time as a 7-year peace treaty between Israel and the Arabs.  We will get more into the details of these prophesies in Chapter 4 and reveal the fulfillment of this last marker in Chapter 10.

This 7-year peace treaty known in Biblical prophecy as the “Covenant of Death” is the beginning of the “End Times”.  For centuries, Bible Scholars have known God’s plan was 7,000 years with the first 6,000 being in the form of Human Government marked by sin (see Chapter 4).  With the first coming of the Messiah ben Joseph to occur in the 4,000th year timeframe as prophesied by Daniel.  The Second Coming of Messiah ben David to occur in the 6,000th year timeframe.  The Second Coming prophesied by Daniel to do away with sin and establish God’s divine system of government.

So combining Daniel with the overall understanding of God’s revealed Word mankind should have been expecting a 7-year peace treaty between Israel and the Arabs from 1993-2000.  1993 being the last 7 years prior to the end of 6,000 years since this age began with Adam.  The 6,000-years ending on the Feast of Trumpets, September 13, 2000 which began the 7th Millennium!  Again, I will establish the proof of this fact in Chapter 4.

Daniel’s Timeline of End Events

Daniel goes into great detail about the ‘End Times’ that begin with the last “week of years” or rather the 70th Week.  Daniel defines this ‘last marker’ in time as a 7-year peace treaty between Israel and her enemies.  Below is an overview of the timeline given to us by God through Daniel beginning with this 7-year peace treaty between Israel and the enemies of God.  I explain these prophecies at length in Chapter 4, but first let me give you an overview so that we understand the big picture:

The 7-Year Peace Treaty Doesn’t Last

Daniel said the Peace Treaty would last only 7 years.  Combined with Isaiah we understand this treaty would not achieve peace because of a dispute over Jerusalem.  I explain this in Chapter 4.

The Mid-Point / 2,300 Days / Abomination of Desolation

Daniel says that at the mid-point of the treaty the continual offering or oblation would be stopped on top of the Temple Mount resulting in 2,300 days of abominations.  At the end of the 2,300 days of abominations Daniel says the sanctuary is cleansed and then at a later date the sanctuary is restored resulting in the ‘Abomination of Desolation’.  The Abomination of Desolation gives rise to the false messiah.  I explain this is greater detail in Chapter 4.

The 7-Year Peace Treaty Annulled – War on Terror

Daniel and Isaiah tell us that after the peace treaty expires 7 years later because of a dispute over Jerusalem, a ‘war on terror’ erupts.  This war leads to the dividing of the land of Israel and the Temple Mount resulting in the rise of the false messiah and the Abomination of Desolation.

The prophets tell us this war is over the control of Jerusalem and the right to the Temple Mount.  The war leads to Israel being attacked and overrun.  We understand this as God’s judgment on Israel that turns into God’s judgment on Israel’s enemies.  As Israel is on the verge of defeat God comes to her aid and supernaturally judges the enemies of Israel and Israel wins the war.

Daniel describes in detail events as the false messiah systematically wages war across the globe with the help of a foreign god as he magnifies himself above the living God.  Then Yahshua returns and destroys the false messiah.

Yahshua refers to this period of time as a period of ‘Wars and Rumors of Wars’ that must take place as the world transitions from human government to satanic government under the false messiah.  And the false messiah gains control of God’s holy city, His sanctuary, and overcomes His people.

The Great Tribulation

Daniel tells us that the angel Michael, who stands guard over the sons of God, is removed as the world falls into demonic control and the false messiah comes to power for 1,290 days beginning with the Abomination of Desolation.

Daniel speaks a special blessing over those who can survive until the 1,335th day from the Abomination of Desolation speaking of the Second Coming and the beginning of the Millennial Reign.  There is no mention of a pre-tribulation rapture in Daniel.  Daniel only mentions a blessing for those who survive the “time of distress that has never occurred since the time there was a nation until that time”.  The Apostle John saw the same end events as Daniel but in a much more detailed vision in Revelation.  John did not see a pre-tribulation rapture either, but rather saw millions of martyred Saints as God judges the Church and the false messiah overpowers God’s people.  We will explore Revelation in more detail later in this book.

The Second Coming

Daniel says that everyone written in the book of life will then (after the time of distress) be rescued and the dead will be raised.
