"About the time of the end, a body
of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the Prophecies, and
insist upon their literal interpretation, in the midst of much clamor and
opposition."
Sir Issac Newton 1642-1727
In Chapter 1 we took a journey
through the Bible to understand how God’s Plan unfolded through history. In Chapter 2 we took a look at the declared
purposes of God’s Plan. In Chapter 3 we
came to understand the prophetic significance of the Old Testament and the New
Testament.
In the very beginning chapter of the Bible, God revealed to mankind the highlights and duration of His plan. Then God blessed it establishing an Everlasting Covenant. The Sabbath was a sign “for ever” of this covenant. The Sabbath was called the sign of the ‘Everlasting Covenant’ for a reason. This covenant was established to continually remind us throughout history of the coming of the Millennial Reign in the 7th millennium. By keeping the Sabbath, we are keeping alive the knowledge of the return of the king.
The Sabbath is His sign or signature of sanctification and timing of the Millennial Reign. It is the Almighty's badge of ownership on the true believer's mind; a memorial symbol that the God of Israel is setting that person apart for Himself. Sabbath observance identifies the true Israelite. The Sabbath is the everlasting sign of the everlasting covenant. It will be kept throughout eternity by the redeemed host. That is what the scriptures teach.

God reveal the major goals of His ‘predestined’ plan to man in the first few pages of Genesis. In these first pages of Scripture, God also revealed to man the ‘Everlasting’ Covenant of the Sabbath. This was the first covenant made with man preceding all other covenants. This covenant was made with man as a portrait of a greater truth and to establish the overall timeline of God’s plan for man. In the first few pages of the Book of Genesis, God reveals His complete plan. That Plan is laid out in Genesis as follows:
1.
God’s timeline for His Plan – The Everlasting
Covenant
(Genesis Chapter 1) - the 6 days of
creation and then in Chapter 2 the Seventh day rest, called the Sabbath was
established as an Everlasting Covenant.
This is the 6 thousand year reign of sin and the thousand-year reign of
the Messiah defined in 2 Peter 3.

The Prophecy of
Messiah ben Joseph and Yahshua’ Death
(Gen 3:15) “you shall strike His heal”, referring to the coming suffering
servant, Messiah ben Joseph, and Satan’s attempt to
stop God’s plan through the crucifixion.
5.
The Prophecy of a Messiah ben
David and Satan’s Ultimate Defeat
(Gen. 3:15) “He (the Messiah) shall crush your head”, refers to the coming
conquering king, Messiah ben David. Yahshua conquering the power of sin and death,
releasing the Elect from the power of Satan to hold God’s People in the grave.
Understanding these first few prophecies requires the full revelation of God in the Bible to compliment and shed light on the book of Genesis. Specifically, “how do we know the Everlasting Covenant of the Sabbath represents God’s 7,000 year plan for man?”
Our goal here is to understand and piece together the Biblical
timeline. We must first firmly establish
the basic foundation and duration of God’s Plan for
I will demonstrate in this chapter that Yahshua was to come as the Messiah ben Joseph, suffering servant, around the 4,000th year. Daniel prophesied this event to the day and it was fulfilled accordingly. And we know from prophecy that Yahshua returns as the Messiah ben David, conquering king, around the 6,000th year and reigns supreme for the last 1,000 years. That is the basic foundation of God’s Plan.
The key to the overall timeframe of God’s Plan for Man is the Sabbath. God established a covenant with man from the beginning of this “age” that is called the “Everlasting Covenant”. The sign of this covenant is the Sabbath. The Sabbath Covenant was given to man in the form of 6 days of work and a 7th day of rest. The Sabbath covenant is truly EVERLASTING. It was never nullified or made void by any of the covenants God made with man that followed. The Sabbath was in effect through the Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, and Davidic covenants.
This Everlasting Covenant was confirmed by Yahshua and holds true even now in the New Covenant of Yahshua the Messiah. Yahshua kept the Sabbath and was called the ‘Lord of the Sabbath’:
Luke 6:5
5
And he said unto them, That
the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.
The reason this covenant is special and was never made void is
because it represents God’s timeline during which He will execute His Plan for

God’s people are commanded to keep the Sabbath Covenant because by doing so, we keep the knowledge of God’s timing alive, we continually celebrate the Second Coming, and we honor the blessings of God to enter into the rest of the 7th millennium.

The question is: “Where in scripture are we told specifically that the covenant of the Sabbath represents 7,000 years and points to the second coming?”
Prophecy tells us over and over that God’s Plan is 7,000 years. We know that God intervenes every 2,000 years until the Millennial Reign:
· 2,000 years after Adam God destroyed the Earth due to sin with the flood of Noah.
· 2,000 years after the flood of Noah God redeemed man from Sin through the Messiah ben Joseph.
· 2,000 years from the crucifixion of Yahshua the Messiah God redeems the Earth from Sin through the Messiah ben David.
The prophets of God confirmed the 7,000-year scale; with
Psalms 90:1-4
1
Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the
mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst
formed the earth and the world (creation), even from everlasting (past) to everlasting (future), thou art God. (Referring to the Everlasting
Covenant of the Sabbath in Genesis established at creation. The boundaries of this Covenant are
“everlasting past to everlasting future” )

reference to the Great Tribulation) and sayest,

years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. (‘6,000 years’ is the sign “a watch in the night” as
Yahshua promised the Saints would NOT be taken like a thief in the night).

Hosea was also given a vision of God’s Plan. Hosea saw a period of time

3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

So clearly, the 7,000-year plan of God is depicted over and over again in Biblical prophecy as God gave His prophets insight and vision.
I want to further demonstrate this fact in 2 Peter 3. Interestingly enough, even the numbering
scheme of 2
Peter 3
points to the timing of the rebirth of

We’ve all heard this quote before:
2 Peter 3:2-18
“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
Many times this is MIS-quoted to mean the 7 days of creation are not literal “days” but rather “unknown periods of time”. NOT TRUE. That is not at all what 2 Peter 3 is about.
This scripture is referring to the END TIMES and the timing
of the Second Coming… not creation.
The truth of creation being “literal days” in Genesis is another story all together. God goes to great lengths to establish He re-created the Earth in 6 literal days after He destroyed the Earth as a result of the fall of Lucifer. But that is prior to this “Age” which begins with Adam and not within the scope of this book. I just want to make that clear that 2 Peter 3 has nothing to do with the duration of creation days. That is clearly established in Genesis.
2 Peter3 is not referring to the length of days in creation, but rather confirming that the Everlasting Covenant represents 7,000 years and that the Second Coming occurs after the 6,000th year. In context, 2 Peter 3 is discussing the TIMING OF THE SECOND COMING… not creation.
We have seen that David and Hosea saw visions of the Everlasting Covenant. I want to provide a detailed commentary on 2 Peter 3 to firmly establish that Peter too saw a vision of the 7,000-year Plan of God. We will discover that Peter is telling his audience that:
1. God’s plan and timeline can be known by studying prophecy.
2. The context of discussion is the timing of the Second Coming.
3. This “age” began with Adam and ends 7,000 years later after the Millennial Reign.
4. The Everlasting Covenant of 6 days and a 7th day is a millennial portrait.
5. The Second Coming is PREDESTINED to occur after 6,000 years.
Before Peter even begins, he again reminds his reader that God’s Plan can be known by studying the Holy Prophets and words of the Apostles and the Lord Yahshua the Messiah.
2 Peter 3
1“Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up
your pure minds by way of reminder),2
that you may be mindful
of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of
the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior,

Once reminding us to study
prophecy, Peter says that we should know that in the LAST DAYS people
will scoff and make fun of those who believe in the literal
fulfillment of scripture and the return of the Messiah on schedule.
2 Peter 3
3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,
4 and saying, "Where is the
promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things
continue as they were from the beginning of creation."
Verse 3 establishes the context of this scripture is the LAST DAYS. Verse 4 establishes that in context of the last days the subject is the timing of the SECOND COMING. So we know that in context of the subject of this Scripture, Peter is not referring to the length of days in creation, but rather referring to the 6 creation days as the length of time prior to the second coming! Big difference.

Peter is saying that over the years between the first and second coming, false prophets will predict an immanent return (rapture) causing people in the last days (End Times) to mock the entire concept of a Second Coming because expectations over the ages for an immanent rapture have all been untrue and time just kept going on and on... These false prophets and “mockers” are willingly ignorant of the Everlasting Covenant! No one would ever mock the Second Coming if they studied prophecy that clearly states Yahshua returns after 6,000 years. In the “3rd day” after the first coming.
Now that Peter has reminded
his reader to study prophecy so that we are not ignorant of the timing of the
Second Coming, Peter CONFIRMS the Everlasting Covenant. Saying that the “scoffers” willingly overlook
the obvious portrait of creation:
2 Peter 3
5 For this (the Sabbath Portrait) they (scoffers) willfully forget: that by the word of God (creation) the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water (the Earth was flooded due to the Sin of Lucifer),
6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.
7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word (this Present Age), are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

In verse 5 Peter indicates that the people of the last days will “willfully forget” the portrait of the Sabbath Everlasting Covenant. In verse 5 Peter directs our attention to the story of Creation, in which God gave us the Everlasting Covenant of the Sabbath.
Peter refers to the first flood in Genesis when God destroyed
the Earth due to the sin of Lucifer who was given dominion over the Earth and
those who inhabited it (pre-Adamite world). We know this is not the flood of Noah because
in verse 6 Peter clarifies this flood as being the first flood that destroyed
the previous age “world that then existed perished” and refers to this Present
Age which began with Word of God… “Let there be..”. The “world” or ecosystem in Noah’s flood was preserved in the
Peter refers to the 6 days of creation “the heavens and earth which are now (as apposed to the previous age that just perished) preserved by the Word of God and reserved for fire at the Day of Judgment” to establish the boundaries of this Age.
NOTE:
The flood prior to Adam is the only flood that could fit in context of Peter’s
discussion. He was establishing the
boundaries of God’s Mater Plan and those boundaries did not begin with Noah but
began with Adam. The floodwaters in the
days of Noah naturally
receded; they did not recede
upon the command of God as did the waters after the original flood prior to
Adam. And the heavens and earth were not
recreated in the flood of Noah. The
command of God was given to recreate the heavens and earth in the flood prior
to Adam. And the Word of God was given
to the flood waters to recede only in the account of creation in the first few
chapters of Genesis when God established
the Everlasting Covenant.
Unfortunately most people have never heard of the fact that two floods destroyed the Earth. Science, however, widely acknowledges this fact. Another failure of the church leaders and worthless shepherds to teach us the truth found in the Word of God. The Bible clearly depicts that the Earth was created untold ages ago and inhabited as Lucifer ruled over it. Lucifer then rebelled against God and led the “nations” in rebellion causing God to destroy the world that then existed with the first flood prior to Adam. This fact reconciles the Bible with science and the fossil record. Explains the fate of the dinosaur, prehistoric man, etc. But again that is outside the scope of this book.
In Verses 6-7, Peter establishes the boundaries of this “age” represented by the Everlasting Sabbath Covenant. The boundaries are from the creation of Adam (when the Earth was destroyed due to the rebellion of Lucifer) through the end of the Millennial Reign when the Earth will be destroyed by fire. Next, Peter defines the millennial scale.
Now, having redirected our attention to the 6 days of creation and 7th day of rest (the Everlasting Covenant of the Sabbath) and establishing the boundaries that this covenant covers as being from the creation of Adam through the end of the Millennial Reign… Peter then defines the duration of God’s Plan for Man (not the duration of a creation day as some wrongly teach).
2 Peter 3
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Peter has now said that in the last days people will willfully forget the Sabbath Covenant, which clearly defines the duration of God’s Plan for man from Adam until the end of the Millennial Reign to be 7,000 years.
That in regards to the Lord’s return a day is a thousand years. A millennium for each of the days in the portrait of the Everlasting Covenant. With the 7th day, the Sabbath, representing the 7th millennium or the Millennial Reign of Yahshua the Messiah.
After having establishing that God’s Plan is 7,000 years and
knowing that Yahshua reigns for the last 1,000 years… Peter drives the point home
that the Lord IS NOT slacking concerning His promise to return. Because Yahshua is not due back until after
6,000 years as predestined by God to allow the fullness of the harvest to come
in!
2 Peter 3
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Verse 9 is confirmation that 2 Peter 3 is defining the duration of time prior to the predestined return of the Yahshua the Messiah. This is 100% consistent with the entire picture of God’s Plan portrayed in the Old Testament and New Testament through the timeline laid out in Daniel and the prophets.
2 Peter 3:2-18 is one of the most vivid explanations of God’s Plan shedding light on the rest of the Bible’s references to the 6/7 Plan. This scripture tells us to:
“Study God’s prophetic words concerning Yahshua second coming, do not listened to the scoffers of the last day that say don’t pay attention, who hope for a premature rapture, claim no one knows the timing of His return, or that time will just go on as it always has. It tells us that God’s Plan began after the Earth was destroyed by a flood in judgment of Lucifer’s fall resulting in the creation of Adam. And this Age ends when this current age is destroyed by FIRE after the 7th millennium. It defines God’s timeline of 6 thousand years and a thousand year Millennial Reign. And then in verse 9 it tells us that all this is talking about the return of the King and that return is predestined to occur ON TIME.”

Studying prophecy reveals without a doubt that God’s Plan is 7,000 years long. As I just demonstrated, King David, Hosea, Peter, and many others saw visions of and understood the portrait of creation and the Everlasting Covenant of the Sabbath as the foundation of God’s Plan. But creation is not the only portrait that God gave us to demonstrate that His plan is 7,000 years in length. God gave us many portraits:
· The 7 days of Creation
· The 7th day of the Sabbath
· The 7th Sabbath of the Feast of Weeks
· The 7th Year of Forgiveness
· The 7th set of 7-years, the Jubilee
·
The 7th day opening of the
· The 7th month and the 7 trumpets of the Feast of Trumpets
· The 7th month and the Day of Atonement
· The 7 animals in the Animal Sacrifice Portrait
· The 7th Day King Portrait
Each one of these portraits pointed
to the 7th millennium. Let’s
take a quick look at each of these portraits that were given by God to man to
illustrate the 7,000-year timeframe.
In the story of creation, God shows us the first portrait of the 7th millennium. After 6 days of work, God rested on the 7th day and then blessed it as holy.
Genesis 2:1-3
“ 1 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.
2 And on the seventh day God ended His work, which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work, which He had done.
3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.”
The Sabbath is a picture of God’s rest. It is a sign between God and those whom He sanctifies. Every 7th day, mankind celebrates the coming millennium as a sign or covenant of salvation in the form of the Sabbath day.
Ezekiel
12 "Moreover I
also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me,
that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them.
Leviticus 23:15-22
"From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of
the wave offering, count off seven full weeks. Count off 50 days up to the day
after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an
offering of new grain to the LORD."
Every 7 years we are commanded to “forgive” all debts.
Neh
10:31
31
And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the Sabbath
day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the Sabbath, or on the
holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the forgiveness
of every debt.
The 7th Sabbath was also a time to rest the land:
Lev
25:4
4 But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land, a Sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
Jubilee provisions
exceeded those of Sabbath. Land was allowed to rest but it was also
redistributed. Slaves were released, debts were remitted and the gap between
rich and poor was eliminated. Everyone was once again on a
equal footing. Jubilee was a new vision for society, a profound reform to
address the wrongs of previous times. This vision was inspired by the
conviction that God is at work in history and that God will be at work in the
accomplishment of the vision in the 7th millennium.
Lev 25:8-10
8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of
years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
10 And ye shall
hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land
unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile
unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall
return every man unto his family.
Ezekiel 46:1

says the Lord GOD: "The gateway of the inner court that faces toward the
east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be
opened,”
The Feast of Trumpets in the 7th Holy Month was a portrait of Yahshua gathering His elect. It is the first Fall Feast and beginning of the Jewish New Year. Yahshua returns on the Feast of Trumpets and used a Hebrew/Jewish Idiom to confirm His arrival on the Feast of Trumpets in the year of completion (more on that later) in Matthew 24.

Yahshua not only confirmed the Sabbath, He kept the Sabbath. Yahshua was also the King/Lord of the Sabbath. The Sabbath points to His Second Coming and is called a “shadow of things to come” which will be fulfilled when Yahshua returns in the prophetic Sabbath (7th millennium).

We have explored the prophetic meaning of the Sabbath Everlasting Covenant and the Biblical Portraits that point to the 7th millennium. Next, we will explore the perfect number of completion 777. The date the Prophetic Sabbath or Millennial Reign begins.
Now that we have explored the portraits of “7” in the Bible:
· The 7 days of Creation
· The 7th day of the Sabbath
· The 7th Sabbath of the Feast of Weeks
· The 7th Year of Forgiveness
· The 7th set of 7-years, the Jubilee

The 7th day opening of the
· The 7th month and the 7 trumpets of the Feast of Trumpets
· The 7th month and the Day of Atonement
· The 7 animals in the Animal Sacrifice Portrait
· The 7th Day King Portrait
Let’s take a look at the perfect number of completion 777.
7 is the number of God.
777 is the PERFECT number of COMPLETION representing the YHWH who is God the Father (7), Yahshua the Son YHWH (7), and the breath of YHWH called the Holy Spirit (7).
This number represents the plan of salvation…. YHWH (God) sacrificed His Son (Yahshua) and breathes life into His sons (Holy Spirit).
This number is also the number that points to the actual date
the Millennial Reign begins.
God reveals His plan throughout the Bible in prophecy. In the Book of Daniel God laid down a detailed timeline for human history from the time of Daniel until the end of Millennial Reign. Daniel foretold the exact timing of Yahshua First and Second Comings, as we will prove. Daniel identifies major milestones and from them he gives us specific days in a dramatic countdown to the Second Coming. I call this God’s Measuring Rod.
This “Measuring Rod” of history in the form of the Nation of Israel delivers a stunning timeline of the End Times. We will develop this timeline step-by-step proving we are in fact living in the Tribulation.
The Measuring Rod in Daniel is defined in terms of 70 markers (70 sets of 7-year periods) relative to the Nation of Israel whereby we can know the times in which we are living as well as a timeline for future events. Daniel prophesied all the major human dynasties painting a picture of human government (of a man whose number is 6) that would be crushed by the return of the Conquering King (whose number is 7) to establish His divine government. This picture of human government was described in Daniel as a statue:

History has proven that Daniel accurately predicted the rise and fall of every major human dynasty. The final dynasty prophesied by Daniel was 10 toes of the statue or the Revived Roman Empire… God has fulfilled this prophecy in 1993 with the European Union. The same year the End Times began.
Daniel then gave us the 70 Weeks (of years) from which to discern the times of the Earth. Specifically these markers in Daniel were given to pinpoint the first and second coming of the messiah. The 70 sets of 7-year periods (490 years) were not prophesied to be concurrent. They are 70 sets of “MARKERS” from which we can measure the time from Daniel until the coming of the Messiah the first time and then the return of the Messiah the second time.
Daniel defined 3 unique sets of these markers (7-year periods called weeks of years).
First: Daniel prophesied 7 “weeks of years” or 49
years before Artaxerxes would give the decree to
rebuild the
Second: Daniel prophesied 62 weeks from the date Artaxerxes gave the command to rebuild the temple. At the end of this 69-year period (7 + 62) the Messiah would come. The Messiah, Yahshua, came exactly when Daniel prophesied riding in on a donkey on Palm Sunday.
Third: Daniel prophesied one more “week of years” as a final marker to end events. Understanding prophesies of Hosea, David, Peter, Yahshua, Jeremiah that God’s Plan is 7,000 years and Yahshua returns around the 6,000th year or year 2000… we can look for the last MARKER of 7-years around the year 1993.
In fact, Daniel tells us the third marker, the 70th and final marker, merely marks the beginning of the 14-year period known as the End Times and then proceeds to reveal a very detailed timeline of end events from the beginning of that last week of years (70th Week of Daniel).
We are going to begin with Daniel’s prophecy of 70 weeks of years and then work out this timeline of events in detail. We will Confirm and cross-reference the timeline with Scripture and current events. Proving we are living in the Tribulation.
First let us review the prophecy in question. This prophecy by Daniel is one of the most profound and misunderstood prophecies in the Bible:
First we see that 70 “weeks” or 7-year periods have been “determined” or predestined by God. This period of time was determined to bring an end to the 6,000-years of human government and to introduce the world to the everlasting righteousness of the Divine Government under King Yahshua the Messiah.
Now we see the 70 weeks divided into 3 unique markers. We see seven weeks until the command is given to rebuild the temple, and 62 weeks later the Messiah comes the first time:
From this prophecy so far, we know that a command will be given
in 49 years and that the Messiah will come in 483 years. We also learn that the Messiah will be “cut
off” or put to death. We also see that
the “people of the prince who is to come” referring to the people of the future
False Messiah will destroy the city of
Now we learn that the End Times will come with the flood of
war. And until the end of this war
desolations are determined over
Now Daniel tells us that in the middle of this 7-year peace
treaty, the sacrifice and offering (oblation) will be stopped launching a
series of abominations on the
This section in Daniel refers to 3 unique timeframes that are
disconnected from each other but together make up the 70 weeks of Israel and
the consummation of the 6/7 Plan of God. The common link to all three
timeframes is
1.
7 weeks (49 years) – This timeframe began with the decree of King Artaxerxes to rebuild
2.
62 weeks (434 years) – This timeframe ended with
Yahshua riding into
3. 1 week (7 years) – This is the LAST week that marks the end of God’s 6,000-year plan and the transition to the 7th millennium. It is marked by a 7-year peace treaty.
Keeping in mind that God’s timeline is based on the 360-day year Hebrew/Jewish Calendar we must calculate these prophesies accordingly.
The prophecy declares that Daniel should "know and understand" that from the going forth of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until the Messiah the Prince comes, that there will be sixty two sets of sevens of years. Therefore 69 sevens is 483 years (69 x 7 = 483 years).
Scholars understand that for prophetic calendars the Jews used
a 360-day calendar year. The 360 days
per calendar year by the 483 years gives us 173,880 days. So the Angel Gabriel
was telling Daniel that 173,880 days after the command is given to
"restore and rebuild

In the 2nd chapter of the book of Nehemiah it states:
"in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of the reign of Artaxerxes, when wine was before him, I took wine and gave it to the king. Now I had never been sad in his presence before. Therefore, the king said to me "why is your face sad, since you are not sick?""
The 1990 edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica states that Artaxerxes Longimanus ascended to the throne of the Medo-Persian empire in July 465 BCE. By Hebrew tradition, when the day of the month is not specifically stated, it is given to be the first day of that month. So, the day of the decree by Artaxerxes was the first day of the Hebrew month Nisan 445 BCE. The first day of Nisan in 445 BCE correspond to the 14th day of March. Transgression of Desolation is the reason for the
Great Tribulation but is NOT the Abomination of Desolation
Daniel 7
21As I looked,
this horn made war with the saints and
prevailed over them(7)
25And he shall
speak words against the Most High [God] and shall wear out the saints of the
Most High and think to change the time [of sacred feasts and holy days] and the
law; and the saints shall be given into
his hand for a time, two times, and half a time [three and one-half years].(8)
Why is are the sacred feasts, holy days, and the
Saints of God GIVEN BY GOD over to the hand of the anti Messiah for judgment for
1,260 days?
Daniel 8
10And [in my
vision this horn] grew great, even against the host of heaven [God's true
people, the saints], and some of the host and of the stars [priests] it cast
down to the ground and trampled on them,
11Yes, [this horn] magnified itself, even [matching itself] against
the Prince of the host [of heaven]; and from Him the continual offering [regular
sacrifice] was taken away and the place of [God's] sanctuary was cast down and
profaned.
12And the host [the
chosen people] was given [to the
anti Messiah] together with the continual burnt offering because of the transgression
[of God's people--their abounding
irreverence, ungodliness, and lack of piety]. And righteousness and truth were
cast down to the ground, and it [the wicked horn] accomplished this [by divine
permission] and prospered.
13Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the
one that spoke, For how long is the vision concerning the continual offering,
the transgression that makes desolate,
and the giving over of both the sanctuary and the host [the Saints] to be
trampled underfoot?(4)
14And he said to him and to me, For 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary shall be
cleansed and restored.
The Transgression of Desolation leads to the Abomination
of Desolation at the End of the Great Trib
Daniel 8
23And at the latter end of their kingdom,
when the transgressors [the
apostate people of God] have reached
the fullness [of their wickedness, taxing the limits of God's mercy], a king of fierce countenance and
understanding dark trickery and craftiness shall
stand up.
It is due to the Transgression of
Desolation that
Daniel 11
31And armed forces
of his shall appear [in the holy land] and they shall pollute the sanctuary,
the [spiritual] stronghold, and shall take away the continual [daily burnt
offering]; and they shall set up [in
the sanctuary at the latter end of the 4th kingdom] the abomination that astonishes and makes
desolate [probably an altar to a pagan god].
Now we see the Abomination of
Desolation occur at the END. VERY different from the Transgression of Desolation which is the
reason for the Great Tribulation.
The Abomination of Desolation occurs at the LATTER END of the kingdom of
the anti Messiah! It is the Transgression
of Desolation perpetrated by the Holy People that cause the Great Tribulation
and fall of
Daniel 11
40And
at the time of the end
[of the Great Tribulation] the king of the South shall push at and attack him,
and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with
chariots and horsemen and with many ships; and he shall enter into the
countries and shall overflow and pass through.
41He shall enter into the

him. And he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away
many.
45And he shall pitch his
palatial tents between the seas and the glorious holy Mount [
Daniel defines the duration of the Transgression of Desolation as being 1,260 days:
Daniel 12
7And I heard the
man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his
right and his left hand toward the heavens and swore by Him Who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a
half a time [or three and one-half years]; and when they have made an end of shattering and crushing
the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
Then Daniel describes the distance between the beginning of the Great Tribulation and the Abomination of Desolation as being 1,290 days.
Daniel 12
11And from the
time that the continual burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate
is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.(6)
Then Daniel gives the duration between the beginning of the Great Tribulation and the beginning of the Millennial Reign as 1,335 days.
Daniel 12
12Blessed, happy,
fortunate, spiritually prosperous, and to be envied is he who waits expectantly
and earnestly [who endures without wavering beyond the period of tribulation]
and comes to the 1,335 days!
Conclusion…
The Transgression of Desolation is caused by the rebellion of the Holy People and defined as 2,300 “mornings and evenings” or rather 1,150 days which causes the Holy People to be given over to the anti Messiah during the great trib which is defined as 1,260 days. This is the reason the two witnesses speak out for 1,260 days against the Holy People for their rebellion.
The Abomination of Desolation is committed at the End of the Great Trib 1,290 days after the Great Trib begins. Prompting Yahshua immediate response (Second Coming).
This is confirmed by Yahshua in Matthew 24
In Matthew Chapter 24, Yahshua gives the progression of End Events as follows:
Kingdom will rise against kingdom
Wars and rumors of war
Earthquakes
Tribulation and persecution of the Saints… mass martyrdom
Great Apostasy, Lawlessness and Iniquity (Transgression of God’s Laws… Transgression of Desolation)
He who endures ‘till the VERY END will be saved
The Good News will be proclaim to all nations (The Two Witnesses witness for 1,260 days)
THEN THE END COMES….
The End marked by the following prophecy…
The Abomination of Desolation!
Which causes the prompted return of the King, Armageddon, and the desolation of the planet.
Yahshua is asked the
sign of His Second Coming in vs. 3, and after giving details the question is
finally answered in vs. 15 with The Abomination of Desolation. Therefore, the Abomination of Desolation is
listed as the final sign that brings Yahshua back to Earth.
Matthew 24
3While He was
seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately and said,
Tell us, when will this take place, and what will be the sign of Your
coming and of the end (the
completion, the consummation) of the age?
4Yahshua answered them, Be careful that no
one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error].
5For many will come in (on the strength of) My
name [[2]
appropriating the name which belongs to Me], saying, I am the the Messiah (the
Messiah), and they will lead many astray.
6And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not
frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,
and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place;
8All this is but the beginning [the early pains] of the [3]
birth pangs [of the [4]
intolerable anguish].
9Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation
and put you to death, and you will be hated by all
nations for My name's sake.
10And then many will be offended and repelled and will [5]
begin to distrust and desert [Him Whom they ought to trust and obey] and will
stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with
hatred.
11And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many
into error.
12And the love of [6]
the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness
and iniquity,
13But he who endures to the end will be saved.
14And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached
throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end. (The End, or
Second Coming occurs because of vs. 15)
15So when you see the appalling sacrilege [the
abomination that astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet
Daniel, standing in the Holy Place--let the reader take notice and [7]
ponder and consider and heed [this]--(1)
16Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;
Now that we see that Yahshua
specifically stated and agreed with Daniel that the Abomination of Desolation
occurs at the very end, then why do most scholars teach the Abomination of
Desolation occurs 3.5 years BEFORE the End?
The reason is that Daniel was SEALED and scholars did not “see” the
Transgression of Desolation.
Furthermore, scholars made the WRONG assumption concerning what is
“taken away”. Inserting “sacrifices”
where the “defense” of the holy people was implied.
Hebrew/Aramaic Scriptures vs. English
Translations
The Meaning of Italics in the English Translations of
the Bible
When the original Bible was translated from Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek; the challenge for the translators was to correctly translate these languages into an English equivalent and make judgment calls when God made implications.
Simply put, there was a need to ADD English words to the original texts
in order to complete the meaning in English that was implied in the original
text. Words were added where the original text made IMPLICATIONS.
Therefore, when the original text IMPLIED a meaning, the translators had to make a judgment call as to the implication and ADD the English word that they believed the original text was implying.
As I will demonstrate, these
translators did not always make the correct assumptions.
English Words ADDED to the Book of Daniel
In the book of Daniel, the word “sacrifice” was added to the King James Version in VERY important scripture which define the signs of the Great Tribulation and the duration between major end events.
“Sacrifice” was added after the word tamiyd which was translated “daily”. The original text did not specify what was implied by the word tamiyd (daily) so the English translators assumed the original text was implying “sacrifice”.
Below are the scripture where the word tamiyd “daily” was used and the word “sacrifice” was added by the English translators assuming the “sacrifice” was the proper implication. NOTE: the word “sacrifice” is in ITALICS which means the word was added and not originally in the text:
Daniel 8:11-14
10 And
it (the anti Messiah) waxed great, even to the host of heaven (angelic realm);
and it cast down some of the host (saints of God the Holy People) and of the
stars (angles) to the ground, and stamped upon them.
11 Yea, he magnified himself (matching himself) even to the Prince of the host (Michael
the
12 And an host (saint, the
Holy People) was given (by God to) him
against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression (of the Holy
People), and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised,
and prospered.
13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another
saint said unto that certain saint
which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning
the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give
both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
14 And he said unto me, Unto
two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Daniel 11:31
31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
Daniel 12:11
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Hebrew Word translated “Daily”
In the above scriptures, only the word “tamiyd” occurred in the original text. The word is translated “daily” and the word “sacrifice” was added in English to try and clarify what God implied.
Below is the actual word translated “daily” from the Strong’s Concordance:
|
tamiyd |
from an unused root meaning to stretch out; properly, continuance (as indefinite extension); but used only (attributively as adjective) constant (or adverbially, constantly); |
So the word “tamiyd” is an adjective used to modify a noun. The word means to stretch out properly, stretch out continually or constantly.
The key is to try and determine “what noun” was implied by God
when He used the adjective “tamiyd”. Was it the “sacrifice” that was implied as the English translators
assumed? Or was it something else? Possibly the DEFENSE of the
Holy People namely Michael the
The translators determined it was
the “sacrifice” based on Daniel
9:27. However, Daniel
Proper Implication of “Tamiyd”
EVERY verse listed above in context is speaking of the Archangel Michael, the Prince of the Angelic Host, the Commander of the Angelic Host, being taken away by God as a result of the Transgression of Desolation. The Transgression of the Holy People against the laws, feast, and covenants of God.
Therefore, the proper implication is that the “daily defense” of the Holy People provided by Michael the Archangel will be “taken away” not the sacrifice.
Daniel 12 specifically answers this
question and identifies that it is Michael
that is taken away. Paul confirmed it
was Michael (the restrainer)
that it taken away in 2 Thessalonians.
John confirmed it is Michael
that is taken away in Revelation 12.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12, Paul
describes the beginning of the Great Tribulation. Paul agrees with Daniel and John in
Revelation 12 that the Great Tribulation begins when Michael, the restrainer/defender
of the Holy People) is taken away by God due to the Transgression of Desolation
(transgression of the Holy People against God).
Now that we have established that the English word sacrifice was inserted mistakenly and defense more accurately reflects what is clearly identified is taken away… Michael, the daily defense, we can better understand the timing of the Abomination of Desolation. Which was prophesied by both Daniel and Yahshua to occur at the very end prior to the Second Coming.
This Scripture answers the question left by Daniel 9:27. Understanding Yahshua prophesied His return on
September 13, 2007 and that Yahshua and Daniel declared the Abomination of
Desolation is what brings Yahshua back, and we know that the Abomination of
Desolation occurs at the end of the False Messiah’s 42 month reign of 1,290 days. We now can simply count back 1,290 days to
know when Michael the
Daniel 12:11-13
11"And from the time that the daily defense is taken away, and the abomination
of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety
days.12 "Blessed is he who
waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. 13 "But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest,
and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days."
This prophecy again has 3 very
distinct parts to it:
Part 1
And from the time that the daily defense of the Archangel Michael is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Simply stated, from the time
Michael is taken away there will be 1,290 days of Great Tribulation before the
Abomination of Desolation brings Yahshua back to reclaim His throne, the
Part 2
Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
This part gives us a clue as to the timing of the beginning of the Millennial Reign. In verse 11, we see a 1,290 day period is reserved for the Great Tribulation, but that we should hang in there for 1,335 days. This creates a 45 day period where the Messiah says be VIGILANT and keep your candles lit looking up because at any moment the Messiah will return, liberate Jerusalem, destroy the armies of the False Messiah, purge the wicked from Earth, dine with His Bride, and inaugurate His Kingdom. The sign of the Son of God will be in the sky to warn the inhabitants of Earth that the King is returning. I believe the 1,335 days expands out to the beginning of the Millennial Reign of the Messiah.
Part 3
But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.
This part confirms that the
1,335 day reference is truly speaking about the beginning of the Millennial
Reign by instructing men across the ages to relax, that these events will occur
around the 6,000th year and that when they are over, we will be
given our inheritance as Children of God after the 1,000 year Millennial
Reign. That is, unless we die during the
Great Tribulation and reign with the Messiah.
Cross-referencing with Revelation 11 we see the holy city being “tread under foot” for 42 months (1,290 days) as the outer court has been given to the “nations”.
Revelation
11
1 Then there was given me a measuring rod like a
staff; and someone said, "Get up and measure the
2 "Leave out the court which is outside the
temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they
will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.
Next, we cross-reference with Isaiah as he too spoke about this
7-year peace treaty (covenant)
Isaiah 28:15-20
15 Because you have said, "We have made a covenant with
death, And with Sheol we are in agreement. When the
overflowing scourge (of war) passes through, It will not come to us, For we have made lies our refuge, And under falsehood we
have hidden ourselves."
…
18 Your
covenant with death will be annulled, And your
agreement with Sheol will not stand; When the
overflowing scourge (of war) passes through, Then you will be trampled
down by it.
19 As often as it
goes out it will take you; For morning by morning it
will pass over, And by day and by night; It will be a terror just to
understand the report."
20 For the bed is
too short to stretch out on, And the covering so narrow that one cannot wrap
himself in it.
Isaiah 28:15-20 tells us that this 7-year peace treaty spoken of by Daniel will be a time of false peace that would be annulled leading to the overflowing scourge of war. Then in verse 19, Isaiah refers to this war as a war on terror. Cross-referencing with Matthew 24:6-7 the end of the peace treaty launches the world into the 3.5 year period of Wars and Rumors of War that Yahshua said MUST take place prior to the Great Tribulation.
Matthew 24
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours
of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to
pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences,
and earthquakes, in divers places.
